Epsilon Carbon – an Epsilon Group company – operates India’s first continuous integrated Coal Tar distillation unit. Epsilon Carbon also operate multiple distillation facilities in multiple locations in the states of Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Epsilon Carbon marked its entry in lithium-ion Battery Space by forming majority owned subsidiary – Epsilon Advanced Materials Pvt Ltd (EAMPL). EAMPL has commissioned a manufacturing unit to produce raw material precursor for synthetic graphite (Syn-G); Syn-G is widely used as anode material in lithium-ion batteries (LIB). EAMPL has been formed with a vision to develop and manufacture innovative, high performance and quality carbon products for anode components of lithium-ion Batteries (LIB). EAMPL has a vision of vertically integrating to manufacture synthetic graphite anodes in India and be a preferred supplier of synthetic graphite anodes to battery manufacturers and energy storage device companies across the globe.
