Replus Engitech Private Limited has teamed up with Hero Future Energies to sign a Energies to sign a Turnkey EPC contract to design, develop, engineer, install, and commission 250MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across sites in an effort to revolutionise the nation’s renewable energy landscape.
In order to fulfil the requirements of the tender, Replus will implement advanced BESS solutions projects in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh over the course of the next 18 months. These projects will seamlessly integrate with the current solar and wind energy systems, improving the overall sustainability and efficiency of renewable energy deployments.
Hiren Pravin Shah, Replus Executive Director and CEO, said that the company is planning to grow tenfold in the next two years, which will significantly benefit from this type of relationship.
Replus and Bhilwara Energy Limited’s chairman, Riju Jhunjhunwala, expressed that both companies will transform the energy environment for the better by aiming for advanced efficiency and operational reliability.
Having already implemented 28MWh of battery energy storage projects both in India and abroad, Replus Engitech Private Limited brings a track record of success to this project. These installations can be said to have boosted the take-up of renewable energy and have provided good solutions to diesel generators. Moreover, Replus is currently developing two 18MWh BESS Microgrids in Congo and Saudi Arabia.
