Think Energy’s business model is to invest in projects at an early stage and undertake development works including land acquisition, securing permits & clearances, procuring PPA, contracting & negotiation, securing financing, designing & construction supervision. Think has a successful experience in working as co-investors with large institutional energy investors and developers like Trust Company of the West, Lehmann Brothers, Rolls Royce Power, Solarpack Corporacion amongst several others. Over the last decade or so, Think has acquired, managed and exited several power projects totaling to over 650 MW. Think Energy (and its affiliated entity) was one of the initial investors of STBSES Coal Washeries which owned and operated two coal preparation plants in the states of Orissa and Chattisgarh.
Think Energy has an experienced management team supported by strong project and corporate finance, development, restructuring, engineering, and operations resources. The team has been involved in implementing more than 500 MW of solar photovoltaic projects globally. Think Energy has a strong local presence and extensive hands-on experience in developing, constructing and managing solar power projects in India and Europe. The company and its affiliates are based in New York (USA), Hyderabad, Mumbai & Delhi (India).
