IESA submitted a letter to Ministry of New & Renewable Energy on key concerns related to financial aspects of BESS Project and raise it with Ministry of Finance. IESA highlighted key financial concerns to avoid delay in project execution such as exemption in custom duty, reduction in GST, requirement of separate HSN Code for other energy storage technologies and delays is getting custom clearance.
