IESA submitted its recommendations to Ministry of Heavy Industries on re-bidding of 20 GWh Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) manufacturing under PLI Scheme. IESA's recommendations include considering batteries with atleast 1000 cycle life and energy density of <125 WH/kg to enable consideration of additional technologies suitable for stationary storage applications. Other recommendations include allowing the brown field projects in the upcoming PLI Scheme, consider incentivisation on first in first out basis to avoid any delays and requested to monitir equipment supply globally.
