IESA recommendation letter to NITI Aayog on Draft Battery Swapping Policy

On 5th June '22, IESA sent a letter to Niti Aayog giving recommendations on Draft Battery Swapping Policy. IESA formulated a focussed group committee with its member companies and held in depth discussions in April & May of 2022.

IESA under its intiative IEMC conducted several roundtables with relevant industry stakeholders to finalising the draft Battery Swapping Policy, to include Light Commercial Vehicles under FAME scope and formulising retro fitment guidelines and extension of FAME - II Scheme for few more years for continued support for EV adoption.

IESA under its intiative IEMC conducted several roundtables with relevant industry stakeholders to finalising the draft Battery Swapping Policy, to include Light Commercial Vehicles under FAME scope and formulising retro fitment guidelines and extension of FAME - II Scheme for few more years for continued support for EV adoption.

IESA letter to MEA to support the inclusion of India in the US-Led MSP to strengthen the supply chain for battery Critical Minerals.

IESA submitted a letter to Ministry of External Affairs requesting their support for inclusion of India in the US-Led Minerals Security Partnership (MSP) to Strengthen the supply chain for battery - critical Minerals. IESA have highlighted the importance of Minerals Security Partnership and its importance to meet the India's ambitious targets for EV and RE deployment and to achieve net zero goals, where a significant demand fro battery-critical minerals is envisaged.
