REMC Ltd. for & on behalf of Ministry of Railways invites eligible Bidders to participate in the bidding process for “Selection of Project Developers for Supply of 150 MW of Roundthe-Clock (RTC) Power from Grid-Connected Renewable Energy (RE) Power Projects, complemented with Power from any Other Source or Storage.” Here, REMCL shall be an Authorised Representative of Indian Railway for conducting the bid process. After completion of the bid process, buying entity i.e Zonal Railway shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful Bidder selected based on this RfS for purchase of RTC Power for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS.
