Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with prior experience of Indian power sector(BE/ B-Tech., M.B.A. (Power) Preferable)
- Experience in contracting with Generators and Independent Power Producers, Distribution Utilities, and Large Commercial and Industrial Consumers
- Ability to quickly grasp the commercial aspects of the transaction and identify workable solutions for risk mitigation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to gain understanding through listening, and to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Experience in developing networks and concluding value-creating business
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills
- Proficient in MS Office

Roles and Responsibilities
- Keeping abreast of Regulations, changes in regulations both at the national and specific State level and their impact on the end consumers.
- Preparatory Tasks for Open Access (Infrastructure Replacement / NoC and other Clearances and Approvals required from the SLDC/Discom)
- Exchange Bid Preparation and Bids Submission
- Data Repository and Data Management
- Client’s Bill Settlement & Verifications and Summary after Energy Adjustment (RE + Px)
- RE Developers Invoice and RE Allocation for Consumers; RE Accounting and Billing
- Co-ordination between Client and RE Developer – Energy Balance and Payments Reconciliation
- Co-ordination with Clients and Stakeholders
- Regular meetings with existing clients
- REC Sale Purchase Co-ordination Activities
- Consulting Assignments - Provide data analysis support for project execution in the energy sectors – renewable energy, energy access, and Battery Energy Storage Solutions.
- Support business development initiatives in energy consulting opportunities including but not limited to proposal writing and data analysis
- Support to Finance and Accounts Team for invoicing clients
- Vendor Management
- Regulatory Filings, Audits
- Actively Engage with clients across the country and maintain a growing pipeline of customers
- Work on other areas like Policy, Regulations, Tariffs, Power Purchase Agreements, Commercial and Financial Due diligence, technical viability assessment (to a limited extent), Renewable Energy, Sustainability, Climate adaptation & mitigation strategies, Consulting Reports, etc.
