IESA - ULSE Standards Sensitization Program for Women
Energy sector has contributed greatly to country’s economic growth and development. The battery and EV industry have gained unprecedented momentum. As the global shift towards electrification gains momentum, governments worldwide are supporting this industry realizing their pivotal role to achieve zero emission targets. New and innovative ideas, processes and products are contributing to the advancement and shift in sustainable solutions for the energy sector.
We are aware that adoption of emerging technologies becomes easier with the existence of standards. Standards development is a process which involves many individuals, organizations and government bodies. Standards ensure social well-being. Their formulation takes into account every type of stakeholder. The process is open, transparent and consensus-based.
It is required to create awareness about the Standards Development Process and invite large women participation from energy sector. India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) and UL Standards and Engagement take pleasure to jointly announce a unique workshop on Sensitization for Women's Role in Standards Development Process to ultimately encourage women participation.
