IESA’s Global Open Webinar on India's Energy Storage and EV Market 2018 Round up and 2019 way forward

With the upcoming National Energy Storage Mission, India is poised for not just accelerated deployment of energy storage technologies but is also looking at setting up of the manufacturing base. The Mission is expected to be announced in 2019 which will act as a trans-formative step for the industry. Multiple Indian states have created EV manufacturing policies and the central government is pushing for EV adoption through EESL and state transport agencies. In 2018, IESA had organized Energy Storage Solutions meet (ESSMEET) for fast-tracking behind the meter adoption of advance energy storage technologies.
The Department of Science & Technology is planning to look at the industry academic ties for advancing research and commercialization of indigenous battery technologies. Keeping all these developments in mind, IESA is organizing a global webinar to discuss the achievements/milestone shaping the market and what can be expected in 2019.
