10th Green Energy Summit & 2nd Edition of green urja and energy efficiency awards

The Green Energy Summit (GES), initiated by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) around nine years ago, has succeeded in achieving the recognition of being one of India’s most comprehensive and well represented energy events. This is an extension of its prestigious annual India Energy Summit, in keeping with the national and international commitment to Renewable Energy. Corporate Entities and Government functionaries from states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana and others have been actively participating and supporting this initiative right since its inception.

 

In keeping with India’s vision and the need to keep its economy globally competitive, its Budget this year highlights some crucial aspects relating to the transformational change, that has to be brought about. Appropriately, it mentions energy storage systems, dense charging infra systems, grid –scale battery storage systems among the list of items to be included in the harmonized list of infrastructure. It has been rightly mentioned that credit availability for clean energy storage and digital infrastructure will be facilitated.

 

The 10th Green Energy Summit is being organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce to deliberate upon this energy transition with the cooperation of governments, industry, technocrats, financial institutions and consumers. The Summit will be held on 23rd March 2022 from 10.30 am (IST) on web platform addressing the following issues.
