The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) is organizing the NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 next week from November 27 – 29 at Manesar, Haryana.
The summit will be inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Minister of State for Finance, Anurag Thakur is also scheduled to be a part of the inaugural session.
The objective of the summit is to share new ideas, learnings, global experiences, innovations and future technology trends to be shared for faster adoption, assimilation and development of advanced automotive technologies for a smarter and greener future.
Deemed to be one of the largest automotive summit in India, the event is expected to host 2500 participants including experts and leading global scientific and research organizations, testing laboratories from Europe, Japan, U.S. and other countries around the world. The event will include more than 250 exhibitions, awards, panel discussions, technology theatre including keynote presentations and technical papers.
The event will provide insights into upcoming technologies in the area of smart and green mobility, avenue for interaction with industry experts, OEMs from India and abroad, and an understanding of regulatory and policy framework, and industry trends. Some unique features of the event include track demonstration, drive-touch-feel activity and lab demonstration on upcoming vehicle technologies from autonomous vehicles to hydrogen fuel cells, recycling and more. The summit is also expected to include demonstrations by student teams of SAE Efficycle, BAJA, and SUPRA.
NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 is being organized through combined efforts of government and private associations such as MoRTH, Dept. of Heavy Industry, SAE NIS, SAEINDIA, SAE International, National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project, Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India.
