IESA at Energy Storage conference, China, by CNESA

The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) was prominent in its presence at the Energy Storage Conference in Beijing, China. This conference was conducted by China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA) at Hotel Doubletree Hilton, Beijing from 22 ¬â€œ 25 May, 2012. IESA was one of the supporting organizations at this conference. A presentation detailing the current scenario and future roadmap with an accurate estimate of the potential for EES in India was given by Mr. Aditya Jammi, the Director of IESA, during the inaugural session of this conference. This was followed by a panel discussion which included proactive participation from the China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), California Energy Storage Alliance (CESA), DeutscheEnergie¬â€œ Agentur (DENA) apart from IESA. The conference comprehensively showcased various aspects of Energy Storage like the role of Energy Storage in Renewables Integration, peak shaving and frequency regulation, Distributed Generation and Energy Storage development opportunities and Energy Storage applications in the ancillary service market and related investment markets. Apart from this, an in-depth analysis of Chinese as well as Global Energy Storage markets was done.
