Technical Support Engineer: Being the Technical Support Engineer of the product company, you will be responsible for provide technical support to customers , cross functional team like Sales, Engineering, Production etc.

Brief about Job
Interact with Customers on regular basis to get clarity of product requirements, demonstrate the product to customer and ensure it is as per requirement. Understanding complete system, processes, methodologies as well as every product to enhance the overall performance for the customer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic responsibilities –
- Interaction with Internal cross functional teams like BD, Engg. Production etc.. On need basis during technical customer support to customer
- Training and demo to sales, BD & service team whenever required
- Analyzing technological problems in products, application systems, checking its technical resolution and working condition, and fixing the same if required
- Collaborating with sales team, engineers, and product managers for obtaining accurate information of product/application usage and system operations
- Functional responsibilities –
- He shall be assigned as a SPOC for new customers & will provide technical support from POC delivery till sample approval
- Involve with customer technical team from Manufacturing, Design & Engineering Department, and any other stakeholders to know the customer requirements.
- Support on preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue and analysis of returned tenders
- To give suggestions for continuous improvement in the system & Production speed
- Should have strong customer centric approach & ready to travel anytime.
- Should have work experience in Battery Pack Industry
- Work experience in process-oriented organisation will be an added advantage.
- Troubleshooting products on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding product
- Preparing relevant records, data, and documents for product presentations, conducting training sessions for demonstrating new products and services, and supporting the sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration
- Evaluating the customer's requirement regarding products and administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly as instructed
- Should love to travel and meet customers on regular basis and prepare and share the report with stake holders
- Monthly reporting with respect to customer development activities to all the stake holders
Qualifications
To qualify for the role you must have –
- E. / B. Tech (Electronics / Telecommunication Engineer/ Industrial Electronics).
- Good analytical and troubleshooting, product know-how, design related skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
- Strong knowledge of the industry, products and market trends.
- Should know product management of electronics products.
- Minimum 5-6 years work experience in technical support /FAE role, candidate with experience in design and development willing to take up TCS is ace
- Good understanding of Software and hardware, analyzing capability.
- Problem analytical and solving capability.
- Flexible to travel PAN India, customers, suppliers.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Should be competent in MS office, emails etc.
- Prioritizing and time management for every task and following SOPs.
- Team Player and high degree of flexibility in work assignments
