Australian Energy Storage Conference & Exhibition 2017

The Australian Energy Storage Alliance (AES Alliance) is an information sharing and networking platform to promote the wide range of existing and emerging energy storage solutions that are available in Australia. It is free to join for companies and organisations in the electric power and electric transport industries and for individuals interested in innovative energy management solutions. The AES Alliance has recently launched its biggest project, the Australian Energy Storage Database (AESDB). The AESDB is the Australian portal to the Global Energy Storage Database and will list and profile eligible commercial projects in Australia and New Zealand. Ms Amy Kean, Renewable Energy Advocate from the NSW Department of Trade & Investment, presented on ‘Renewable Energy future for business and industry in NSW’ focusing on the NSW Renewable Energy Action Plan. International speaker Mr Mark Higgins, Senior Director, Strategen Consulting and California Energy Storage Alliance concluded the event presenting ‘Notes from abroad: North American energy update and insights for the Australian marketplace’.
